Setup guide

    Open Settings → Connectors

    In ChatGPT (web or desktop) click your avatar → Settings → Connectors. The feature requires Plus, Pro, Team, or Enterprise.

    Add an MCP server

    Click "Create" and provide the MCP server URL (HTTPS). ChatGPT only supports remote servers (HTTP/SSE), not local stdio.

    Enable in a new chat

    In the chat composer click "+" → select the connector. Deep Research and Agent Mode then have access to the server tools.
